Deeper Share New Track + Video "The Knife" !
Deeper's highly anticipated sophomore LP Auto-Pain is out this Friday, March 27th on Fire Talk worldwide. The follow up to the band's critically-acclaimed eponymous 2018 LP, the new album was one of Bandcamp's best selling indie albums during last Friday's revenue share sale despite still being a week out from release, and has already generated widespread accolades from the press, including a major Stereogum profile last week where the record was tagged as being "bigger, more ambitious and more direct in just about every way" than the band's "already excellent" debut.

Today, the band share the final single from the album, a track entitled "The Knife," which premiered last night along with an interview on Apple Music's ALT CTRL. The accompanying video was directed by Coool (Ratboys, Disq) and features the band taking it to the man and getting over. Following the album's frenetic first single "This Heat" and it's more contemplative, synth driven follow up "Lake Song," "The Knife" provides a preview of the more emotionally intense side of Auto-Pain, embodied by the track's thrilling outro during which Deeper's jagged rhythms mesh with singer/guitarist Nic Gohl's insistent refrain in a moment of pure catharsis.
