Strange Ranger shares Blaketheman1000 "Raver Explanation" Remix

Today, Strange Ranger share a glitched out remix of No Light in Heaven bonus track "Raver Explanation" by Blaketheman1000. A stalwart of New York’s downtown music scene, Blake’s left-of-center pop has been written about in Office, I-D and Rolling Stone. A dream, plaintive refrain in the headspace of a cab ride home late at night or early in the morning, downtempo synths anchor Blake’s verse, which channels early Drake at his most melancholic yet disarmingly sincere. It’s another reframing of the mixtape’s adventurous, genre-fluid nature, taking them to new heights while retaining the effervescent sentiment & spirited evolution that has made them one of the most exciting new bands of the 2010s.

Blake elaborates: “I’m moving in with Isaac from Strange Ranger on Wednesday. I like making music with the various members of strange ranger and was excited to remix this song by them.

Strange Ranger adds: "Blake is moving into my apartment tomorrow. I think he's going to start bringing stuff over today. Nice that this remix is coming out the day before we become roommates. Fated."
