Today, Kassie Krut unveil their new single, “Reckless - COIDO Remix,” from the forthcoming Kassie Krut (Expanded EP), out this Friday via Fire Talk. The thrilling COIDO remix straddles harsh noise and infectious electronics, reworking one of 2024’s most celebrated tracks into an irresistibly entrancing composition. Named one of the year’s best songs by Pitchfork, The Guardian, Mix Mag, NPR Music, Hearing Things and more, “Reckless - COIDO Remix” doubles down on its predecessor’s “brazen jungle percussion and lush electronic noise” (The Line of Best Fit), taking the theme song to new heights.
“Reckless - COIDO Remix” follows Kassie Krut’s collaboration with Panda Bear, and is joined by additional contributions from DJ Travella, The JLB (of Kero Kero Bonito), and Container on Friday’s Kassie Krut (Expanded EP).
