You guys just announced a midwest tour with Bully. What are you hoping to learn from America’s heartland?
We’re hoping to learn to love each other at our worst — we don’t like waking up early. Fireworks and lightning bugs. Maybe a field or a pond. Catching a frog sounds lovely. Cicadas. Couple of beers.
What’s the first thing you’re gonna do when you get back to LA?
Play catch!
What does it even mean to be an “ LA Band ” ?

If you could transport any band to LA. Who would it be?
There are way too many here already.
Blur vs. Oasis. Who ya picking?
Oasis, no brainer. Working class rockers, Irish solidarity, god-like geniuses. Good RnR should sound like you wrote a song after getting hit on the head by a hammer.
Most underrated RnR band?
Primal Scream. Arguably the best rock band ever that gets such little cred in the US. Nobody does a ballad like them, Bobby Gillespie is god.
Stereogum said you have bars. How do you guys come up with this stuff?
