Today, Louisville Kentucky based trio, Wombo release and expanded version of their album, Fairy Rust via Fire Talk Records. 'Fairy Rust & Selected Demos' pulls together nine sketches, demos and fully fledged ideas that showcase the band's recording process and act as a perfect companion piece to an album that Paste compliments the “thumping bass line and Chadwick’s gauzy vocals” and the FADER calles “a trove of dreams and secrets”.

Conceived over the course of the last two years, the record is steeped in its own time warp of escapism, and influenced by fairytales like the Brothers Grimm and Hans Christian Anderson that blend surreal situations with the mundane. ‘Fairy Rust’ plays on this preoccupation with fantasy, and the resulting record sounds like no one else.
